A Hollywood Laser Peel, also called a carbon laser peel or charcoal peel, is a two-step laser facial. A thin layer of medical carbon lotion is applied to the skin, then a Q-switched 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser breaks up the carbon particles along with surface oil, dead cells and debris in the pores.
